I went to Osborn ramp, there was no ice insight until I went out to main lake, across from the Newton Stuart ramp. The south ramp was iced over, The water temp was between 38 and 42 in shallow water. I fished the rock shoreline, using a jerkbait and shallow diving crank bait, I'm sorry to say I didn't get a single bite, and most people I talked to said the same thing, no bites. The temps for this week are going to be fairly warm all week with a chance of rain. Maybe this warm rain will melt the remander of the ice and warm up the water. If nothing at all, these temps should get the crappie stirred up a little. The lake level lookes pretty low, exposing some good structure, ( try to remember where you saw good structure, mark it on your GPS or lake map, these will be places where fishing will be good once the lake level comes back up. Good luck and good fishing.

I like these two coves (type the coordinates into google maps)
38.42311,-86.702685
38.424568,-86.699553

And this bank
38.42423,-86.709423

The old rock quarry has always looked "fishy" to me, but I've never caught anything back in there. Besides, you can only get in there when the water is up, so for now, it is a moot point.
